The Late Week Lazy Boy Supper Club, created in 1996 is a unique and intimate songwriter circle that showcases great Texas and Red Dirt music by bringing songwriters to the stage of the Royal to share the stories behind the lyrics and motivations behind the songs in an acoustic setting (unless otherwise noted).
The Supper Club is a one of a kind experience that combines the concepts and elements of a dinner show, concert and a nightclub in a controlled environment. The venue itself is considered by the artists as one of the most prestigious in Texas, and almost one hundred songwriters have performed at the Supper Club, including Hal Ketchum, Pat Green, Jack Ingram, Ray Wylie Hubbard, Charlie Robison, Cory Morrow, Steven Fromholz, Clay Baker, Brian Burns, Slaid Cleaves, Mary Cutrufello, Terri Hendrix, James McMurtry, Sonny Throckmorton, Bruce Robison, Tommy Alverson, Max Stalling, Chris Wall, Monte Warden, Kelly Willis, Houston Marchman, David James, Larry Joe Taylor, and Deryl Dodd just to name a few.

Doors Open at 6:30 p.m., and a homesyle dinner is served at 7 p.m., and the show begins at 7:30 p.m. Patrons are invited to B.Y.O.B., and after a satisfying meal, to sit back and make themselves at home, while enjoying a musical experience like no other!
